Harihar Nagar – Part 3 to start!

Siddique and Lal’s original laugh riot In Harihar Nagar, took 18 years to have a sequel when Lal directed To Harihar Nagar, which released on April 1, 2009, and became a blockbuster!
Now four months after its release, Lal is back with the third part titled In Ghost House Inn, less than four months after the release of the sequel!
Says writer, director, producer and distributor Lal with a smile: “In Ghost House Inn, is going to be a horror comedy thriller. The entire team of Mukesh, Siddique, Jagadish and Asokan are back and they are once again in trouble! This time Nedumudi Venu, Harisri Asokan, Augustine along with five heroines is going to join the gang. Our Cinematographer Venu will once again be the cameraman.”
The shoot of the film will start in Ooty on October 25, and it is likely to release on April 1, 2010, as the big Easter-Vishu and summer release, by Lal creations. http://www.smsbalcony.com/

Kana Kanmani Release date confirmed on Sept 2

Moserbaer Entertainments Kana Kanmani, featuring Jayaram, Padmapriya, Biju Menon in the lead and written by Gireesh Kumar and directed by Akku Akbar, the hit duo of Veruthe Oru Bhariya will be the big 2009 Onam release.
The audio of the film which has music by Shyam Dharman will be launched in a week’s time. Mammootty’s Play House are distributing the film which will be Jayaram’s biggest release in 70 screens across Kerala on Thiru Onam day which falls on Wednesday September 2.
Inspite of being the Noyambu season, theatres in Kerala are giving it priority, and has promised to play it irrespective of collections till Ramzan day (Sep 18 or 19), when two biggies Pazhassi Raja and Robin Hood are due for release. http://www.smsbalcony.com/

Lakshmi Rai’s hat trick with Mammootty!

Is Lakshmi Rai, Mammootty’s current favourite heroine? The actress who claims to be romantically involved with Indian cricket team captain MS Dhoni is now going to do a hat-trick with Mammootty.
Lakshmi Rai, has become the number one heroine in Malayalam film after the 2009 blockbuster 2 Harihar Nagar, released for summer. Now the latest we hear is that the actress has been signed by director Shafi and producer Anto Joseph to be Mammootty’s heroine for his forthcoming action comedy Chattambinattil!
The actress will be doing her third film with Mammootty following the super hit Annan Thambi and the flop Parunthu.
The shoot of Chattambinattil will start in Pollachi from 9/9/9, and it will be Mammootty’s big Christmas release.
