Yodha 2 Confirmed , Sequel to Yodha

Yodha was a malayalam film which was made way back in 1992 under the direction of Santhosh Sivan and Sangeeth Sivan with Mohanlal and Jagathy Sreekumar in pivotal roles and shot in the locations of Nepal was one of the Evertime superhits in the mollywood. Now they are coming back with the Yodha2 which is the sequel to the Yodha.

The news about theYodha 2 is almost confirmed and after 18 years Arasumoottil Appukuttan and Thaiparambil Ashokan are coming back to enjoy all. This is a happy news for the Lalettan fans. This time also one of the best team Mohanlal and Jagathy Sreekumar is doing the lead roles in the movie. Santhosh Sivan is directing the movie and now he is doing some projects in Bollywood.



Sources indicate that Mohanlal has already given dates for the movie Yodha 2. In the movie Yodha, Urvashi and madhubala played the roles of heroines and this time Lakshmi Rai is coming in the heroine role. Puneet Issar who is the villian fame in the movie Yodha also be seen in the sequel also. Harris Jayaraj , the musical magician is doing the music department of the movie Yodha 2 .

Mohan lal- Kamal Hassan

Mohanlal - Kamal Hassan's Unnaipol Oruvan cnfirmed for Sep 18

Unnai Pol Oruvan the latest flick from Ullaka Nayakan Kamal Hassan which features two superstars - Mohanlal and Kamal Hassan in the same screen. The movie was earlier scheduled for August 12 and due to the Ramzan Fasting the movie is posptponded to the September.

The movie Unnai Pol Oruvan is directed by Chakri Toleti and is poduced by his own production house Rajkamal International. Chakri is not a new one to the tamil and he has acted with Kamal as a boy photographer in Sagara Sangamam. Shruti Haasan debuting as the background music scorer in the film.

Now sources indicate that Kamal Haasan will release the film by last week of September. ‘Unnai Pol Oruvan’ – is the tamil remake of the bollywood movie A Wednesday. Mohanlal is doing the role of a police officer in the movie originally portrayed by Anupam Kher, while Kamal will be in the character featured by Nasarudeen shah. Mammootty-Xmas release..from Shafi ............the hit maker

Mammootty and his super hit Thommanum Makkalum and Maayavi director Shafi are together again in all out action entertainer Chattambinadu.
The film will be produced by Mammootty’s own banner, ‘Playhouse’ and shoot of the film will start from 9-9-9 (9th Sep, 2009) in Pollachi. It is going to be Mammootty’s 2009 Christmas release.
Mammootty plays a planter Virendra Mallaya, and a ‘goonda’ with 37 criminal cases against him. Once he goes to Chembanadu in Karnataka to buy a coffee plantation. The place is full of criminals, who are a law by themselves. Virendra Mallaya a criminal himself takes on the other criminals in a clean up operation!
Benny .P Nayarambalam is writing the story and screenplay. Mukesh will play an important role, along with three heroines in this action film laced with humour. Says Shafi: “Mammooka will be speaking in Malayalam with a heavy Kannada accent and will be having a new look in this film.”

Harihar Nagar – Part 3 to start!

Siddique and Lal’s original laugh riot In Harihar Nagar, took 18 years to have a sequel when Lal directed To Harihar Nagar, which released on April 1, 2009, and became a blockbuster!
Now four months after its release, Lal is back with the third part titled In Ghost House Inn, less than four months after the release of the sequel!
Says writer, director, producer and distributor Lal with a smile: “In Ghost House Inn, is going to be a horror comedy thriller. The entire team of Mukesh, Siddique, Jagadish and Asokan are back and they are once again in trouble! Kana Kanmani Release date confirmed on Sept 2

Moserbaer Entertainments Kana Kanmani, featuring Jayaram, Padmapriya, Biju Menon in the lead and written by Gireesh Kumar and directed by Akku Akbar, the hit duo of Veruthe Oru Bhariya will be the big 2009 Onam release.
The audio of the film which has music by Shyam Dharman will be launched in a week’s time. Mammootty’s Play House are distributing the film which will be Jayaram’s biggest release in 70 screens across Kerala on Thiru Onam day which falls on Wednesday September 2.
